Travel to Italy with GROVE

With Bergamot essential oil at its heart, Grove will always have mine. It takes me on a journey to southern Italy where the trees blossom at the foothills of the Calabrian mountains, its light citrus scent carried through the evergreen branches of ancient conifers and a whisper of clove brings warmth from the winter sun.
Bergamot is a small green-yellow citrus fruit well known for its essential oil. Although named after Bergamo in the north, the Italian regions of Calabria and Sicily in the south are the largest producers. The fruits ripen in winter between December and March holding onto the energy from summer and its essential oil, known as the “sunshine oil” is cold-pressed from the peel.
Revered for its mood elevating effects, Bergamot is both calming and uplifting and can help promote clarity of mind, it’s also an brilliant example of nature gifting us what we need in the seasons we need it, an uplifting and feel good aroma to elevate our inner light in the darkness.
